Fighting

my husband and i went to watch this movie, Fighting last sunday. i LOVED it! i love the actor, channing tatum so much... he is so hot! 

i liked his other movie, step up too. he is such a good dancer. i wish i could dance like that! 

i found this flickr thing called channing tatum unwrapped and check out his photos time to time... he is beautiful  

Etsy update

i posted two new items on my etsy shop this morning. the pics are not great - there was no sun this morning, and the pics came out way too dark. 

i was able to make another item with this cute black floral print. 

kimono top, size small to medium

and a tunic dress made out of floral print with tiny blue, yellow, pink and red flowers! 

my 50th etsy sale!

yay! i just had a 50th sale on my esty shop. im happy:)

when i started my shop last june, it took me a month for the first sale, and then i had a second sale in the same week, but then i had no sale for two months. i was making stuff for people outside of etsy, but i was so discouraged by the fact that i didnt do well online and kept on whining about it to andy. 

after that, he suggested that i renew or post new things everyday, at least three times. and the sales came in! he was so right, because who even considers buying your stuff if they dont see it? 

anyways, this pineapple dress was the 50th one

i just uploaded this camisole. i made this out of a pillowcase i found at circle thrift last saturday.  back is shirred. i love shirring stuff to avoid zippers. its more fitting and comfortable, i think.

i just signed up for broadstreet run on may 3rd! im excited. this is my first long run.

Meet Bella

over this weekend, my friend naoko and i got together to practice on fashion photo shoot. we are trying to make a "look book" section on my website. we went to a near by park to shoot at 6pm yesterday. the model is Bella. Photographer is Gregory Lytle.

new etsy update

i updated these items today. they are not actually new, i made them last summer. and i decided to post them on esty since the weather is warming up.

this dress, i call it "pinapple dress" since the little yellow flowers look almost like pinapples. i thrifted the skirt at a local thrift shop and reconstructed into dress.

turquoise dress, i used burdastyle pattern for this. i think the pattern is called Celeste.

New creation at Trunk show boutique

I made four of this maxi dress this week for the local boutique in Philly. Available in small, medium and large there. I don't have enough fabric to make it for my etsy shop unfortunately... 

I love this pastel green color - it was a suggestion from the boutique owner. made in very comfy cotton jersey.

and this neckless... is the one that I got from Daisy Chain Dreams...  it's a little merry-go-around.  Made out of 50s vintage charm, and it really spins like a real merry-go-around.

Andy commented that I'm too paranoid about loosing my contacts in the interview... but it's true! I would certainly die without either glasses or contacts. Whether I'm in the city or in jungle, it doesn't matter... I would be hit by a bus because I don't see it coming or get bitten by tarantula in jungle because I don't see anything without them.  I can't wait to get Lazik!
