can't believe it's already mid september

time flies! cant believe that winter is approaching so soon. i miss summer. i love hot weather!

just an update of what was going on in the past couple of weeks...

i went to a party with bunch of friends from Liberti home group (one on top) . and my husband and i went to NY to see family.

deep purple

this was just a practice for the dress to come. i was asked to make this party dress, and i made a pattern, but scared to use nice satin material at first. so i tried with jersey.

i think it came out pretty well:) its comfy and sexy at the same time! i love how the bust part ties in the back, and has a security there.

office dresses

i made these two office dresses for my friend this week. it literally took me 10 hours to finish two, because i put lining..it's double the work! but i think they came out really well.
I really appreciate BurdaStyle for posting this free pattern, Danielle.
its free! i love free stuff....:p

these dresses don't look as well on me as my friend. probablly because i have a really flat chest....

JOMAR finds

Someone at philly etsy team told me about JOMAR. wired name, right? its basically a huge ware house in south philly, but they have a tons of fabric for sooo cheap! its kind of messy, so it takes an effort to find stuff there. but its just sooo cheap and i loved it!!

here is what i found there...

black lace, blue corduroi, pink fleece for cropped jacket in fall, vintage buttons and brown tweed!

These are in Mew Gallery now

So I took out these two items from my etsy shop, and placed them in Mew Gallery last thursday. Their shop is really cute.

Since I don't have a fabric label yet, I decided to cross stitch my label name into a ribbon!

Purple cropped jacket & Kimono dress

They wanted something for fall/winter seasons, so I picked this.

I worked on this this weekend

Since I received so many compliments for the kimono dress I made on Burdastyle, I decided to make one again. The one I made previously is now in Mew Gallery. I'm sending this new one to OAK....:)

One thing I change was to add lace bow in the back. I really like how it turned out. Andy liked it too....:)
