Cut out dress giveaway! - CLOSED


Happy Friday everyone! I'm running my first blog giveaway today. I just realized recently that I've never had a giveaway on my blog and I should. I really appreciate all of you for reading, commenting and supporting this small diary of mine, and wanted to give something back.

So, I'm giving away this cut out dress! I made this to wear to my friend's wedding last April, and it's only been worn once. It's made out of poly satin in gray, and perfect for weddings, cocktail parties..etc. I really like this dress, but I am not am not sure with the baby soon to arrive when the next opportunity will be for me to wear something dressy.  No reason to have this sitting in the closet waiting on death row.

Here are the measurements  Length 34", Bust 32", Waist 25".
I know the size limitations makes it a bit hard, but I hope this dress will find a nice new home:)

    I love all your dresses but I can't afford to get one made right now.
    I don't think the dress will fit me perfectly right now, but I'm planning to lose some wieght before my friends wedding in July! This will be the perfect motiviation! So I'm going to cross my fingers and hope to win!

    I have been reading for a few months now. Your dresses are so inspiring in my sewing endeavors. I hope when I have more time in the summer (I sing opera and teach during the year) to attempt something inspired by your style! I especially find your dresses helpful because I am rather petite like you and find it so frustrating to fit regular patterns, sba adjustments don't even begin to cover it!

This is my size, and it would be nice to have something fancy, classy, and (oh my gosh!) handmade to wear out on a date I've been planning for my boyfriend.

    Hi Chie, my husband tells me he's very happy for me to be into sewing now, I have to say that it's cos I found your creations very inspirational and beautiful.

    Being a new stay at home wife, I've been looking for a hobby to keep myself busy and since then I've gone out and got myself a sewing machine and serger. So far, I've made a few dresses (50's style), 2 blouses and lots of pencil skirts! I especially admire your cut out dresses, especially the crab print one :)
